Seller: gedwatts (1,147) 100%, Location: Birmingham, West Midlands, Ships to: GB, Item: 382635971272 Suzuki DR350 SE 1998 electric start model in supermoto trim, with cast wheels and Bridgestone Battlax tyres. Included in the sale are the original spoked wheels, fitted with Pirelli Scorpion offroad tyres, and the original front mudguard. I bought the bike four years ago to get back into trail riding but have used it very little, because of a shoulder injury and lack of time. It starts and runs well and is genuinely multi-purpose, having a decent road performance and good off-road capability (this is my third DR350 - I did a lot of off-road miles on the first two haven't been off-road with this one). I didn't get any history with it when I bought it from a Lancaster dealer but I am the fourth owner. During the last year I have fitted a new battery with an Optimate connector, a new CDI unit, a new rear brake master cylinder and rear brake pads. I also fitted a Hepco and Becker topbox rack - the top-box is included with the sale if you want it. The headlight unit is non-standard, as is the instrument panel (pictures 10 and 11). The display is quite sophisticated, with a working rev-counter and digital speedo, outside temp display, elapsed time etc. but the neutral light and high beam light are not connected. If you are any good at wiring, it should be reasonably easy to connect these functions. The speedo works fairly accurately but the odometer doesn't, so the mileage reading is stuck at 9,890, which may or may not have been set when the instrument panel was replaced, The only damage is a 70 mm split in the left lower tank 'ear' panel (picture 12). The steering lock seems intact but unfortunately the vendor didn't have a key. Viewing is welcome in NW Birmingham - please message me through eBay to arrange a visit. On 21-Nov-18 at 21:29:07 GMT, seller added the following information: Two things I forgot to mention: 1. If the fuel tap is left on when the bike is standing, sometimes petrol leaks from the carb overflow pipe. It's not a problem when riding as long as the fuel tap is turned off when parked. I suspect that it's a problem with the float level and have ordered a carb service kit - this may arrive after the bike is sold but I'll post it on to the new owner. 2. Other extras are a fork brace and frame guards, although they are probably obvious from the pictures!
